Our Mission
The Auburn Blues Society is dedicated to the promotion and appreciation of the Blues.
The immediate goal is to foster a sense of Community for all those individuals who share a passion for the Blues.
- To understand and appreciate the history of the blues and perpetuate the legacy of early blues musicians.
- Organize monthly meeting that will provide a forum for local musicians to gather and perform blues-based music.
- Encouraging shops to carry a wider selection of Blues recordings.
- To facilitate the creation of a vibrant network of musicians who play the Blues.
- And to inspire young musicians to play the blues.
